This allow you to fish for Trout in the two near by lakes Dalavatnet and Anestølsvatnet. You can also fish in the river connecting the two lakes. The lakes are just a short walk away from our site and you can fish from land or one of our boats.
Children and young people up to 15 years old do not need a fishing license. Young adults (16 years old and older) need to purchase a fishing license.

Uteplassen Sogndal was opened in 2008 and, with its unique location in Sogndalsdalen in Sogndal, is a perfect starting point for experiencing activities and adventures from fjord to mountain by the Sognefjord.
Based at Uteplassen, you can experience famous attractions such as Jostedalsbreen,
Jotunheimen, Flåmsbanen, Nærøyfjorden, the Glacier Museum in Fjærland, the Sognefjellsvegen Road, Urnes Stave Church, Skålatårnet, etc.
Uteplassen Sogndal offers guided mountain and summit tours both summer and winter, often in combination with accommodation and meals. We offer arrangements for teambuilding kick-offs, etc.
We offer 7 apartments and 3 cabins with 4-6 beds each, 30 places for campers, caravans and tents. We have good sanitary facilities with changing rooms, showers, laundry room and kitchen.
We have a café/restaurant with a capacity of 50 people that can be used for parties and smaller courses and conferences, as well as a meeting room with 10 meeting places.
